I met my boyfriend on myspace (which I know isn’t really online dating) and we have been together almost 2 years. I think that they are a good way to meet someone. You get to know them without having to give too much about yourself away. It is important to be safe, but they really do offer a great service.

I gave Yahoo/Personals a four month try. Did meet some incredible women, had some interesting conversations. But I am not renewing my membership. This just isn’t for me.
I’d rather stay single and take my chances than have to wonder if the other person is being truly honest (actually married, involved, etc. and just unhappy).
Definitely don’t discredit the experience. But it is time to try a new approach.

I think they are lame.
Using the internet as a Man, to find Mrs. Right, or even a possible Ms.Tonight, either way, it takes away the skill of approaching and speaking to someone your may have an interest with, it makes things too easy.
Though I must say I have tried and continue to check the site out but cant say Ive had much luck,
