Because he is not happy with his wife and by joining online dating services, he wants to see if some other woman is attractive to him still.

I’m a single guy and I was wondering the same about those crazy women. Why? I don’t want trouble and that’s all they are looking for, something to get their adrenaline up. I thought that they might be looking for someone to make them feel pretty again. But, men are such dogs, so I don’t think that’s it either.

I have joined plenty of online dating sites for research, and am married. However, my wife knows what I’m doing and that she has nothing to worry about…
Your husband seems to have a problem with being faithful. My suggestion would be to join an online dating site yourself. Then, search for your husband and send him a message:
"If I find you on another dating site, you’re going to need one when I get through with you."
He should spend the time that he spends on those sites spending time with you… Make him start to work to impress you again. Start going out on dates, and dress up in something sexy for him.
If he refuses to respond to your attempts to get his attention, and continues his behavior, then you should definitely talk about ending the relationship before he hurts you again.
